This tour is to be designed "just for you". Following is a suggested itinerary. Of course, you will be able to send us your wishes during the booking process. 

Bordeaux is one of the very French town which combines every ingredient of the French "art de vivre”: history, traditions, architecture, wine and food. During this private day tour, you will be able to discover two faces of Bordeaux: walking in the city and by boat on the river. 

9.30 am: Pick up by your guide in the center of Bordeaux at the address of your choice
This walking city tour will take you to the most distinctive producers of local delicacies. 
During this walk, pass by mythical spots such as Grand Theatre, Place de la bourse (former royal square of Bordeaux), the historical centre (UNESCO classified in 2007), the St-André Cathedral where famous wedding have been celebrated, the Gambetta Square, the River bank etc… The guide will provide you with history and anecdotes about our lovely city.

Start your day in the city center of Bordeaux nearby the cathedral at the bakery, smell the flavors of the fresh bread just coming out of the oven and share this moment with the baker.

Your next stop will be in the most famous chocolate maker in Bordeaux, in this shop they keep the secret of their recipes for several generations. In this local mythical place, you will taste different chocolate. 

Then, follow your walk by a " Tour de France of Cheese" in a cheese shop in Bordeaux, we will explain you the know-how and the characters of famous cheeses like: Comté, Roquefort, Brie...

Greet and meet the captain of the chaland on the river quays – the “chaland” is a typical boat used on the Atlantic coast to collect the oysters in the bay of Arcachon. Let yourself be surprised by the calm and the tranquility on the Garonne River while seating in your deckchair and enjoying the view (3 hours ride). 

Enjoy a delicious lunch on the boat - seafood platter, squid and king prawn ‘a la plancha’, dessert and two glasses of Bordeaux wine.
