Probably the highlight of the wine tourism in France. Who could come to Bordeaux without visiting one of its famous châteaux? We will take you to both prestigious “Classified Growth” estates as well as smaller gems run by people who are passionate about what they do. All of our tours include a “Classified Growth” estate as well as a family run property. With our wine tours, you will see the best of the wine tourism in France.
PARTICIPATE IN A CULINARY LESSON AT THE CHÂTEAU
The copper pots and pans of the châteaux’s kitchen are waiting for you to try out the authentic recipe of the Bordeaux ‘cannelé’. All of this orchestrated by Bordovino’s chef.
CREATE YOUR VERY OWN CUVEE
Bordeaux wine are comprised of various types of grapes (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc …). Create your own blend and give your “cuvee” the character of your taste.
LUNCH AT THE CHÂTEAU
In the dining room, in the cellar, we can lay the table wherever you would like it (upon request - please contact us)
MEET THE OWNER
In all the châteaux that you visit with us you will be greeted by the owner or the manager. They will treat you as their guest.
SAVOUR DELICACIES FROM THE MARKET
A traditional French market place, with enthusiastic vendors. Good food, good wine: a good combination for Bordeaux wine tourism. A delicious cheese, some « charcuterie » and fresh tomatoes… All this to be enjoyed over aperitif at the chateau.
Taste the wine on the château’s terrace
Live the chateau life for one day. Walk through the château’s drawing room to reach the terrace. Take in the view of the surrounding vineyards and châteaux.
TASTE THE WINE DIRECTLY FROM THE BARREL
Taste the wine yard breeding, taken directly from the barrel. You clearly understand the role of wood in wine aging.
